Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, including alternating late shifts once a week until 9:00 PM and overnight call during weekdays, as well as 24-hour call on weekends.
Job Description
The Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and interventions in the cardiac catheterization lab while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of physicians.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Monitor patients' heart rates and vital signs during procedures.
  • Assist with the evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiac issues.
  • Ensure the cath lab is properly stocked and maintained.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 24 months of experience in the catheterization lab, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
  • Current life support certifications from AHA, ACLS, and BLS.
  • No hits on state license to practice.
  • Valid driver's license for residency verification.
  • Travel experience is highly preferred.
