OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a client-focused Portfolio Manager - TM to support and grow business banking relationships through exceptional service, treasury management expertise, and proactive account management. This role serves as a trusted partner to commercial clients, managing a portfolio of deposit relationships while collaborating closely with Treasury Management Sales Officers and other business development teams to identify opportunities for growth and deliver tailored banking solutions.

Essential responsibilities for this role include:Client Relationship Management
  • Manage and deepen a portfolio of business deposit relationships.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for treasury management inquiries, service requests, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct regular client outreach, annual reviews, and relationship calls to identify opportunities and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Analyze client needs and recommend treasury, deposit, and cash management solutions.
Client Onboarding & Account Management
  • Coordinate new client onboarding, including account opening, documentation collection, and treasury product implementation.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client contracts, account documentation, and product setup.
  • Support ongoing account maintenance and service enhancements for existing clients.
  • Monitor exceptions related to pricing, fees, and rates and coordinate updates as needed.
Treasury Solutions & Portfolio Growth
  • Partner with Treasury Management Sales Officers and commercial banking teams to support portfolio growth and cross-selling efforts.
  • Prepare treasury management proposals, account analysis reviews, pricing models, and client presentations.
  • Evaluate client balances, transaction activity, and service utilization to recommend optimal product solutions.
  • Assist in identifying and qualifying treasury management opportunities within existing relationships.
Product Expertise & Client Support
  • Maintain expertise across all treasury management and deposit products.
  • Educate and train clients on treasury management platforms and digital banking tools.
  • Provide day-to-day support for client questions, requests, and problem resolution.
  • Assist with RFP responses, account reviews, and special projects as needed.
Continuous Improvement
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging treasury solutions.
  • Recommend product enhancements and process improvements based on client feedback and market developments.
  • Participate in training, planning sessions, and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Strong relationship management and client service skills.
  • Experience in commercial banking, treasury management, cash management, or business banking preferred.
