POSITION SUMMARY:  Delivers primary support to Business, Government, and National Banking Sales Teams, assisting new and existing deposit clients, including account opening, digital service onboarding and deepening client relationships. Serves as lead client support for all Cash Management service-related activities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Responsible for opening new and maintaining existing Business deposit accounts, including document collection, due diligence and risk review. 
  • Works closely with Business and Government Banking Relationship Managers to support business deposit client onboarding, including digital banking and cash management services.
  • Delivers business deposit client support via phone, email and video banking channels. 
  • Manage and distribute ongoing report packages for Business Banking team, including development of customized on-demand reports for managing Business deposit portfolio.
  • Effectively manage ACH, RDC, and Wire limits – initially establishing limits, and facilitating annual renewals and maintenance.
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies, and procedures.
  • Regularly collect and upload relevant KYC financial information throughout Business deposit client’s relationship to ensure information is current.
  • Maintain effective relationship with core provider support team (Jack Henry) to manage ad hoc service requests.
  • Participates, encourages, and promotes CX process improvements and efficiency changes.
  • Participates in Bank Projects, actively engaging as a Business Banking subject matter expert.
  • Maintains a current knowledge and understanding of ACH/NACHA rules.
  • Assists and coordinates with content for compilation of business deposit RFPs, presentations and proposals. 
  • Supports business banking sales efforts with demonstrations and participates in related calls, events and activities.
  • Identify cross-sale opportunities for existing customers to deepen relationships.
  • Works effectively with Customer Success Center in support of ongoing business banking support and training needs.  
  • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations by the Company.
  • Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and Bank Policy.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:  

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in all aspects of cash management products and systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to detect and resolve problems.
  • Make decisions which are appropriate and consistent with the situation.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High degree of confidentiality required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to follow directions.
  • Working knowledge of Bank’s applications supporting customer information preferred.
  • Associate degree or 3 years’ experience in a business banking environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.
  • Consistently operates a computer and other office equipment such as calculator, copy machine and printers.
  • Climate controlled general office setting with moderate noise level.
  • Must express or exchange ideas with co-workers, customers and vendors.
