Job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lender to join a community bank in Lawrenceburg, TN, serving the rural southern-middle Tennessee and northern Alabama market. This role focuses on developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationships, with an emphasis on relationship-based, community-focused banking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate new business through referrals, prospecting, and community involvement
  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, collateral, and credit risk to structure loans
  • Prepare credit memos and loan presentations in accordance with loan policy
  • Monitor loan performance, covenant compliance, and credit quality
  • Conduct annual reviews and renewals, addressing credit concerns proactively
  • Cross-sell treasury and deposit services
  • Collaborate with credit administration to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Represent the bank within local chamber, civic, and community organizations

Qualifications
