Coastal Heritage Bank is seeking an experienced banker to join our retail team at our Weymouth location. As a Banking Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our customers as the face of the bank. This position may require floating between locations in the same area to provide support as needed.

Hours of Operation:

Monday- Thursday: 8:30-4:30

Friday: 8:30-5:00

Saturday: 8:30-12:00


Saturdays: 2 Saturdays/month required. All employees have the choice between taking a day off during a week when working a Saturday or working the full week and getting overtime.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent and courteous customer service, ensuring positive customer experiences by attentively recognizing and responding to customer needs.
  • Assist customers with account services, including account opening and closing.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a balanced cash drawer and resolving discrepancies.
  • Stay updated on bank products and services to provide accurate and complete answers to customer inquiries.
  • Adhere to all established Bank policies and procedures, as well as Federal and State laws and Fair Lending regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and secure facility, adhering to security and regulatory changes through regular training.
  • Assist with various branch operations tasks, such as maintaining branch files, answering telephones, completing currency transaction reports, and handling cash shipments.
  • Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in banking.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

ADA Requirements: Must be capable of performing primarily sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be able to operate routine office equipment and work on a computer for extended periods when necessary.
