Description

CCFBank is currently searching for a Credit Analyst to join our team! This position is onsite in Eau Claire, WI. Are you ready to provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers? As a Credit Analyst, you would be responsible for analyzing credit information for current and potential borrowers, determining the advisability of granting credit for diversified types of loans, assisting loan officers in writing loan requests, and promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services. ย 


The ideal Credit Analyst candidate is a collaborator who works well in a team environment and can communicate with colleagues from various departments. Bonus points if you're community focused and excited about making a positive difference for those around you.


This position is located in office at our corporate office in Eau Claire, WI.


Primary Responsibilities of a Credit Analyst

  • Performs pre-qualification assessment and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests within framework of Bank credit culture and current economic and industry trends.
  • Gathers data from customers, internal and external sources; prepares spreadsheets and analyzes financial information including financial statements and tax returns; obtains additional information and clarification of data.
  • Compiles data from credit bureaus, conducts industry peer comparisons, and performs cash flow analyses and other such tasks and comparisons.
  • Obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from banker.
  • Verifies collateral and lien position
  • Communicates with Ag/Commercial Bankers when working credits, spreads, and ticklers
  • Works in conjunction with other departments to process and service loans
  • Develops knowledge of financial industry, economy, market conditions, rates, vendors and competition.
  • May represent the Bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to further enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.
  • Updates and corresponds with special assets department on workouts, bankruptcies, and charge-offs to ensure all possible precautionary actions or measures are taken.
  • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules and regulations; adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position.
  • Performs annual reviews on credit portfolio to establish trends ensuring proper risk rating.
  • Compile credit action presentation complete with accurate financial data and detailed narrative to aid in the credit decisioning processย 
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Credit Analyst Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • One year credit analyst experience.
  • Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
