ABOUT THE ROLE:

TheInvestment Banking Associate II performs a wide range of complex analytical and high-level support functions.With limited supervision,applies analytical skillsto provide consistent data and reporting support for Corporate & Investment Banking teams and deal teams.Produce high quality analysis and presentation materials.

A Senior Associate will begin to play a leadership role in the evolution and development of the groups pitch materials and modeling and analytical work as well as running the transaction execution process including the creation of financial models and other materials A Senior Associate may also provide management and oversight of Analyst pool to ensure the production of ahigh qualitywork product.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and understand complex financial models.

  • Perform complex financial analysis with minimal oversight.

  • Complete research andmaintaininformation databases asrequired.

  • Work well as part of a team in a highstressenvironment.

  • Develop good working relationships with peers and seniorbankers in Corporate & Investment Bankand the rest of the organization.

  • Manage priorities while working ona number ofhigh priority opportunities simultaneously.

  • Complete basic credit and corporate finance overview and analysis independently.

  • Serve as support to the Managing Directors and be capable of making internal andexternal presentationsto support the efforts of the Managing Directors on the team.

  • Interact with all important constituenciesin the course ofexecuting and closing loan transactions.

  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, confidentiality, and information barrier requirements across all workstreams.

  • Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team's and the company's mission.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree/certification (e.g., CFA) preferred but notrequired.

  • 5-7 years of total relevant investment banking M&A experience, including prior Associate-level responsibilities; internal promotion candidates typically have 5-7 total years' experience. Ideally this experience includes Environmental Services.

  • Proven project leadership across multiple concurrent transactions with tight deadlines; ability to manage across senior bankers and external advisors.

  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 79, and Series 63 licenses (or ability tomaintain/obtain within company policy).

  • Advancedproficiencyin Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Expertisein reviewing complex financial models andvaluationwork product; ability to translate analytical and credit findings into actionable recommendations.

  • Strong client-facing communication skills; capable of leading portions of meetings, managing expectations, and delivering concise updates.

  • Deep familiarity with legal documentation, diligence scopes, and transaction processes; adept at navigating issues and driving resolution.
