Job description

Salary commensurate upon skill set, experience and competency in similar role(s).

Salary: $57,000-$65,000
 

Preferred experience in Operations Supervisor leadership role within the armored transportation or warehousing industry. Ability to work directly with branch leadership in mitigating risk through coaching, training, surveillance, loss investigations, compliance and policy/procedure enforcement.

Must be skilled in Microsoft Office, Route Planning, CIT Operations, CMS Operations, Employee Training, Access Controls, Data Analysis, ATM Services, Claims Resolution, Loss Investigations, and ability to prepare for and work with Internal and External auditors within all operations of the Birmingham and Montgomery branches.  

Experience preferred with Operations Software, to include Track and Trace, SoFi, Netra dyne, AXIS Body Worn Cameras, Oracle, and EVAS. Well defined knowledge of Federal DOT regulations for commercial drivers and OSHA standard compliances. 

Maintain a detailed understanding of both Branch Compliance Audit (BCA) guidelines and CMS Compliance Audit guidelines. Ability to persuade others to conform with Loomis ideals, procedures and policies. Work closely with both CIT and CMS operations leadership and personnel to reduce Theft, Losses and Shortages as well as upholding legal and company standards of safety and security.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid firearms permit or ability to pass applicable firearms requirement per the state to which you are applying is required.
  • A strong, positive, leadership and supervisory presence proven through professional experience is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to teach, coach, and present to small and large groups is required.
  • Experience in transportation and warehousing, transportation logistics, or a related field required.
  • Experience in banking or retail cash, and ATM operations preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.

 Required Experience

  • College degree or 3-years’ experience in transport operations
  • Proven ability as a self-starter within current and prior positions.
  • Ability to train and to have others conform with company ideals, policy and procedures.

As part of the qualification process for the Armed Driver Guard position, a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) is required. This evaluation requires successful completion of testing in the following areas:

Lift:

Lift-Carry:

  • 18lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches from the floor, and horizontally transfer 15ft (4X)
  • 18lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 300ft (1X)
  •  50lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches from the floor and horizontally transfer 2ft (2X)

Push-Pull:

  • Horizontally transfer 47lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), distance 1ft (2X)

Repetitive Coupling:

  • Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30lbs / both right & left hands (4X)

Climb:

  • Ascend / Descend a step with heights of 16. 21 & 24 inches from the floor (10X)
