Job Description

Must have strong knowledge and at least five years' experience Teradata DB design and development and performance tuning. 

Expertise in Teradata V2R14.x systems and used utilities like MultiLoad, FastLoad, FastExport, BTEQ, TPump, Teradata SQL, TPT. 

Must have strong knowledge and at least five years' experience as a developer of ETL applications with advanced features of Informatica PowerCenter 9 like Power Exchange. 

Must have strong analysis and design skills, translating requirements to technical specifications and design documents. 

Must demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to Data Warehouse and Big Data environments 

Experience in Scripting using Unix Shell Script, Python, and Perl. 

Experience in implementing large-scale Data Warehouse projects, with Hadoop development experience using JAVA, Hive, Pig is a plus. 

Experience in data modeling using Power Designer will be a plus. 

Experience in Reporting using MicroStrategy /Tableau will be a plus. 

Agile experience. Able to work independently and as part of a team, 

Background in data warehousing with Finance / Banking industry is a plus. 

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
