About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join their technology team in Farmington Hills, MI. This role focuses on building and deploying scalable, secure infrastructure using Terraform, integrating AWS Bedrock for AI/ML capabilities, and developing automation and tooling in Python or TypeScript. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure deployment in a regulated (banking/financial services) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform across cloud environments.
  • Support deployment and integration of AWS Bedrock for generative AI/ML use cases within banking applications.
  • Develop automation scripts, tooling, and services using Python or TypeScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (application, security, and data teams) to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement infrastructure deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to support consistent, repeatable releases.
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to banking industry security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
  • Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock or similar generative AI/cloud AI services.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
