Job description

This is not a remote position.

We are looking for an experienced loan processor who has been processing Consumer and Commercial loans for 2 years.

The position is an hourly position with working times Monday- Friday 8-5

Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • We currently use Laser Pro, Encompass and Jack Henry, knowledge of these systems would be ideal.
  • Reinforces the application of superior customer service through his or her own example along with appropriate follow through with involved customers and employees.
  • Performs routine operational duties related to residential, construction and commercial mortgage loans in compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures and related laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Works with mortgage and title companies, appraisers, real estate agents and other real estate industry professionals as directed.
  • Assists mortgage loan officers in the loan application process as directed; follows up on obtaining necessary information and documentation from applicants; coordinates the ordering of credit reports, flood zone determinations and UCC filings; and performs title searches, etc.
  • Originates loan documentation and onboards loans; conducts loan funding and processes payments or advances as directed; distributes daily and monthly reports.
  • Assures compliance with all bank policies and procedures as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
  • Carry out such other duties as may be assigned or requested.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, required
  • Minimum of two year working experiences in a customer service position, required
  • Previous experience working directly with the public, preferred
  • Position involves contact with the public, necessitating the ability to present a professional image
  • Must have the ability to interact comfortably and confidently with the public and demonstrate the initiative to initiate dialogue
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software products, preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Sufficient computer literacy
