Job description

The Commercial Global Treasury Management Solutions (GTMS) Advisor plays an import role in Bank of Hope’s deposit growth and treasury management cross-sell opportunities, competing for deposits and treasury management business. As part of the GTMS team, reporting to the Head of GTMS, the GTMS Advisor will be responsible for business development and direct sale of depository and treasury management solutions.

GTMS Advisor will be responsible for partnering with Relationship Managers and working independently to develop prospects for new business through the direct sale and cross-sell of depository and treasury management products and services designed to meet client treasury needs within assigned geography or business segment.

  • Prospect and develop new relationships that will drive deposit and fee income growth.
  • Develop and execute market strategy aligned with scorecard card goals.
  • Identify, analyze, sell, and support treasury management sales to establish business customers and targeted prospective corporate clients.
  • Meet with existing customers to ensure proper servicing of treasury management services and to expand existing business relationships through cross-sell of products and services.
  • Meet with new customers to promote and complete enrollment of treasury management product(s) to increase non-interest revenue, residual income, and new/existing deposits.
  • Document all facets of client engagement through CRM, keeping pipeline of prospects and client deals updated. Link all activity to assigned deal team for executive awareness.
  • Maintain high level knowledge of treasury management products in order to provide recommendations and resolutions to reported issues.
  • Represent Bank of Hope at industry events as subject matter expert and develop the Bank of Hope brand awareness within targeted deposit industry sectors.
  • Participate in pipeline and partner meetings – communicate key deposit and treasury objectives and identify areas to support the deal team.
  • Communication – strong ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) within multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root cause and drive a resolution. Quickly escalates to ensure follow through and closure of issue.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures plus industry and regulatory compliance.

 

Job Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Finance, Business or Economics).
  • Minimum Job Experience: 7+ years’ experience in commercial banking with a strong understanding of deposit gathering and treasury management solutions.
  • Required: Must be able to work independently, a motivated self-starter with a disciplined approach to business development.
  • Preferred: Existing network of deposit and COI contacts.
  • Preferred: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
  • Computer/software skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferred: Korean speaking and writing proficiency

The salary range for this full-time position is $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 + bonus + benefits
