Google Workspace Migration Specialist - 100% Remote
Location, Ann Arbor, MI
Long term contract
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Google Workspace (GWS) accounts, permissions, access control, and application usage across the client environment.
  • Partner with the UK-based Banking migration team to address GWS-related queries and provide technical solutions aligned with organizational needs.
  • Collaborate with the Microsoft 365 (M365) migration team to ensure a smooth and secure transition from GWS to M365.
  • Analyze and document the existing email infrastructure and GWS app utilization to inform migration planning and tool selection.
  • Engage with end-users to understand usage patterns (internal, external, or hybrid) and provide tailored guidance during the migration process.
  • Ensure all migration activities comply with Banking’s security, compliance, and data governance policies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage user communication, training, and migration-related notifications.
  • Recommend appropriate migration tools, methodologies, and best practices to support an efficient and low-risk transition.
  • Support the decommissioning of the legacy GWS environment after successful migration and data validation.
