Overview
Deutsche Bank's Global Network Services function delivers secure, resilient, and scalable network services across the Bank's global technology estate. As a Technical Project / Program Manager - Network Security & Cyber Resilience, you will partner closely with Network Security Engineering to shape and deliver new network security solutions that strengthen the Bank's cyber resilience and support secure technology transformation. You will translate engineering concepts, security requirements, and architectural direction into executable delivery plans under close collaboration with our Deployment team, working from concept and design through implementation, adoption, and operational readiness - ensuring delivery end to end. In this role, you will also help proactively identify network security weaknesses and drive remediation in partnership with engineering, operations, and security stakeholders..

What You'll Do
  • Partner with Network Security Engineering to develop and shape new network security solutions, including Zero Trust, network segmentation, network access control, firewall governance, secure connectivity, and cyber resilience capabilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery from concept, business case, and technical design through implementation, transition to operations, and benefits realization
  • Translate complex network security designs and cyber security requirements into executable workstreams, technical deliverables, implementation roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
  • Proactively identify network security weaknesses by assessing control gaps, vulnerability trends, architectural risks, operational issues, and security assessment outcomes
  • Drive remediation of identified security weaknesses from discovery through closure, including prioritization, ownership alignment, delivery tracking, evidence collection, and management reporting
  • Ensure solution delivery remains aligned with cyber security requirements, enterprise architecture direction, technology risk expectations, and operational resilience objectives

Skills You'll Need
  • Strong technical understanding of network security technologies and architectures, including Cisco, Check Point, F5, firewalls, proxies, routing, segmentation, NAC, secure remote access, cloud connectivity, hybrid network controls, and enterprise security tooling
  • Deep knowledge of cyber security and network security solution delivery, including secure design principles, control integration, operational resilience, technology risk management, and weakness remediation
  • Experience delivering complex global infrastructure and network security solution programs from concept to production implementation
  • Proven ability to manage complex technical delivery across network engineering, security architecture, operations, vendors, and global stakeholder groups
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Professional project or program management certification such as PMI, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or equivalent
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, GIAC, or equivalent
  • Experience in a TISO, technical information security, security architecture, cyber risk, or comparable security advisory role
  • Technically curious, delivery-focused, and able to bridge engineering design, cyber security requirements, and practical implementation
  • Collaborative, internationally minded, outcome-driven, structured, and committed to delivering secure, scalable, and operationally sustainable network security solutions

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
