The Banking Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's banking operations, treasury administration, banking system implementations, and audit compliance activities. This role serves as the daily liaison between the company and its banking partners, ensuring efficient cash management, strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and successful implementation of banking products and services. The ideal candidate combines treasury management expertise, project implementation experience, and strong audit and compliance knowledge to support the organization's financial objectives.

Responsibilities

Banking Administration

  • Support all corporate banking relationships and serve as the primary daily contact for financial institutions.
  • Oversee bank account administration, including account openings, closures, maintenance, and signatory updates.
  • Administer online banking platforms, user access, entitlements, and security controls.
  • Monitor daily cash activity, account balances, and treasury transactions.
  • Coordinate banking resolutions, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Approve wires and international payments.

Cash Forecasting & Analysis

  • Prepare cashflow analysis and variance reporting.
  • Analyze historical cash trends, business drivers, and operational activities to project future cash requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cash forecast reports for leadership.

Audit & Compliance

  • Maintain strong internal controls over banking and treasury processes.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests related to cash, banking, and treasury activities.
  • Prepare audit documentation and support testing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, banking regulations, and SOX requirements when applicable.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to strengthen controls.
  • Assist with fraud prevention initiatives and banking security protocols.

Banking Implementations & Projects

  • Lead implementation of banking products, treasury management systems, and payment platforms.
  • Coordinate bank integrations with ERP and financial systems.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, testing strategies, and implementation documentation.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, Travel, and banking partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Manage system upgrades, process improvements, and treasury automation initiatives.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and training for stakeholders.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, finance, or accounting.
  • Experience managing banking relationships and treasury services.
  • Experience supporting internal and external audits.
  • Proven project management or system implementation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of banking platforms, cash management, and internal controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or D365.
  • Experience with Treasury Management systems such as Kyriba.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and treasury management systems.
  • Experience leading banking integrations and treasury automation projects.
Additional Information

Salary Range: $90,000-$116,000

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
