Job description

Bernalillo Pet Care Center is eager to welcome an Associate DVM to our team. We're located in Bernalillo, NM, a great community about 10 minutes north of Albuquerque. We are offering a rare bonus/relocation package of $50,000 for a full-time DVM. We are also offering a housing stipend for the first year for a full-time veterinarian interested in relocating to the area.
Experience and scheduling:
We are seeking a full-time and part-time veterinarian at Bernalillo Pet Care Center. Ideally, we are looking for Friday coverage. This person would ideally take over two surgery days (2-5 surgeries/day) and see appointments on the other day. This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians with 3-4+ years of hands-on clinical experience. Strong surgery experience is highly preferred. Experience with orthopedics is a plus, but not required.
As an Associate DVM, you'll collaborate with our 5 doctors, who have a wide range of experience, and will have 2 technicians supporting you each day (+/- a floater). Our Medical Director has special interests in preventative care, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and chronic pain management. Our Associate doctors have interests in critical care medicine, senior wellness, exotics, dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. Outside of work, our team enjoys running, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, exploring National Parks, crafting, and of course, spending time with their loved ones. We are a family-friendly practice with a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
Get to know us:

We offer a great work-life balance (rarely here past 5 pm) and have an exceptional team of doctors to work with.
If you are interested in becoming part of a team that encourages your career growth and works well together, we encourage you to APPLY TODAY!
