Job description

Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join our growing and collegial team in Muncie, Indiana. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a community-focused hospital that combines academic excellence with compassionate care. This position offers an annual total compensation in excess to $600k along with a $300k sign-on bonus!

Job Duties
  • Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
  • Administer general and regional anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures
  • Monitor patients during surgery and in recovery to ensure safety
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program
  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for Indiana medical licensure
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
