This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in reliability, organization, teamwork, and getting the job done the right way.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an AM Bakery Driver Supervisor at Tatte, you will support both bakery logistics and café operations by ensuring products move safely, accurately, and efficiently throughout our system.
We expect our AM Bakery Driver Supervisors to:
  • Lead with reliability, accountability, and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively across teams
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and organization
  • Support safe, efficient, and accurate bakery deliveries and receiving processes
  • Have flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Bring a team first mindset and sense of ownership to daily operations

Scope of Responsibilities
  • Load and deliver bakery products and supplies to cafés
  • Receive, verify, and organize incoming deliveries
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and maintain proper FIFO rotation
  • Track waste and escalate inventory concerns
  • Maintain clean, organized, and food safe storage areas
  • Follow all sanitation, safety, and Department of Health standards
  • Support daily operational assignments from the Bakery Logistics Manager
  • Identify and communicate operational issues proactively
  • Work safely, efficiently, and collaboratively as part of the bakery team
  • Supervise and support a team of 7 drivers
  • Create schedules and monitor route efficiencies

Vehicle Information
  • Operate 22 ft refrigerated straight trucks
  • Operate automatic transmission vehicles with lift gates
  • Maintain a valid Class D driver's license
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to work in fast paced operational environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years of recent verifiable driving experience
  • Experience supervising teams of at least 7 drivers
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience creating schedules and monitoring route efficiencies
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Ability to speak English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
