Summary

The Preconstruction Coordinator assists throughout the preconstruction process by researching market/project leads, completing prequalification’s, developing marketing collateral, creating presentations, producing proposals for business development, and providing administrative support throughout the estimating process. Serves as the CRM database subject matter expert and is responsible for generating and assisting with corporate safety communications.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Preconstruction Coordinator will perform the following duties in a safe, productive, and effective manner:

  • Oversees CRM database, working with the Corporate PMO (I.T. Project Management Office)
  • Manages and assists with regional CRM data input and reporting
  • Trains new CRM users
  • Performs research as directed for business planning, new markets, products, and services. Updates and maintains the Prequal Master, which is a repository of needed information to complete company-wide prequalification’s
  • Manages regional prequalification process and takes the lead on completing submittal information
  • Manages and takes lead on Corporate third-party Prequalification Systems such as Avetta, ISNetworld, and TradeTapp
  • Assists Estimators with filling out bid forms and proposal submission
  • Facilitates monthly BD Meetings with Regional BD Leads and third party marketing resource
  • Attends weekly regional BD/Estimating Meetings
  • Gathers project Metrics from estimators for each bid and updates database
  • Participates in monthly CRM Project Meetings
  • Creates presentations for various company needs
  • Produces creative and attractive proposals for business development
  • Creates, organizes, and maintains various types of marketing collateral related to business development and preconstruction, including project profiles
  • Creates and updates resumes and organization charts for business development needs
  • Orchestrates trade show events
  • Assists with the administration of the Baker Classic Golf Outing and the Regional Service Awards
  • May serve as an association Board Member and/or as a representative at Allied Construction Industry (ACI) events
  • Responsible for organizing and distributing materials for Safety Week across all BCE Companies
  • Assists Safety with various co-worker communication programs and materials. (IIF Training and Safety posters)
  • Responsible for Award applications and submittal content. (Such as AGC, AIA, ACI, Build Ohio, etc.)
  • Responsible for providing regional projects to Marketing for the corporate website
  • Tracks current Market metrics and creates Economic Quarterly Dashboards
  • Identifies current Top 10 customers
  • Identifies future Top 10 customers
  • Scans media for project leads and customer news
  • Provides administrative support on an as needed basis for Marketing, Business Development, and Estimating
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing/ Communications, or 5 years of equivalent experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
