Job Summary

Sales Associates at Hey Everything are expected to represent the company positively by delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects our core values. The primary responsibilities include assisting customers and maintaining a clean, well-organized sales floor. This position has a special emphasis on freight handling and includes unloading shipments using a skid steer or forklift.
Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone by assisting with questions, locating merchandise, and processing special orders.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment, including daily housekeeping tasks.
  • Inform customers about upcoming promotions and new products.
  • Assist customers with loading products into their vehicles when needed.
  • Stock and merchandise products according to planograms and maintain accurate signage.
  • Restock shelves and pallet displays as needed.
  • Help conduct regular inventory counts.
  • Face and front product throughout the store at the start and end of each shift, and as needed during the day.
  • Support store staff with various operational tasks as required.
  • Remain vigilant and responsive to potential theft, following store policy.
  • Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
  • Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.
  • Be trained and able to cut keys and mix paint.
  • Operate a forklift or skid steer to unload shipments from semis.
  • Load full pallets of product for customer pickup.
  • Maintain flexibility in scheduling to accommodate variable freight delivery times.
  • Promptly restock outdoor pallet displays as needed.
  • Help maintain and perform minor upkeep on equipment used for freight and loading.
