Key Results:

Responsible for working in any phase of the packaging area with the focus on the bagging, sealing operations, and effective operation of FFS. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
  • Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
  • Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
  • Able to perform change over and set up in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots and corrects problems efficiently.
  • Identify and understand the different types of packaging.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance.
  • Perform quality checks as prescribed by The Mulch & Soil standards.
  • Must be able to maintain the product flow through the packaging process without incurring any operational interruptions.
  • Accurately fill and seal all types of packaging within the plant.
  • Heavy lifting.
  • Locate product safely and efficiently in the warehouse.
  • Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
  • Responsible for notifying supervisor of product issues.
  • Treat product so as to minimize damage occurrences.
  • Responsible for housekeeping in your work area, as well as, all associated grounds.
  • Adhere to all safety and operational practices.
  • Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be able to learn and understand PLC interface.
  • Ability to work well with teams and alone.
  • Capable of maintaining efficiencies for total run rate of:

 16 qts. To 32 qts. 20 BPM  

 1.5 cf to 2cf          18 BPM

 3.0 cf                   16 BPM                  

Experience and Education:

High School diploma or GED

Descripción principal:

 Responsable de trabajar en cualquier fase del área de empaque con enfoque en las operaciones de embolsado, sellado y operación efectiva de FFS. 

 Deberes y Responsabilidades Principales:

  • Cumplir con todas las reglas y procedimientos de la Compañía que incluyen, pero no se limitan a Abuso de Sustancias.
  • Adherirse a todas las practicas operacionales y de seguridad.
  • Dispuesto a participar en el Programa de Seguridad ALL4Zero.
  • Capaz de realizar el cambio y configuración de manera efectiva.
  • Solucionar y corregir los problemas de manera eficiente.
  • Identificar y comprender los diferentes tipos de empaques.
  • Hacer mantenimiento preventivo diario, semanal y mensual.
  • Hacer controles de calidad según lo sugerido por las pólizas de Mulch & Soil.
  • Debe de ser capaz de mantener el flujo del producto a través del proceso de empaque sin incurrir en interrupciones operativas.
  • Rellenar y sellar con precisión todos los tipos de empaques dentro de la planta. 
  • Levantamiento pesado.
  • Ubicar el producto de manera segura y eficiente en el almacén.
  • Responsable de notificar al supervisor con los problemas de seguridad.
  • Responsable de notificar al supervisor de los problemas de los productos.
  • Tratar el producto con precaución para minimizar los problemas de daños.
  • Responsable de la limpieza en su área de trabajo, así como, todas las áreas asociadas al trabajo.
  • Cumplir con todas las prácticas de seguridad y operativas.
  • Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de la Compañía.
  • Otros deberes según le sean asignados.

 Habilidades Requeridas:

  • Conocimiento de mecánica básico. 
  • Debe estar orientado en los detalles.
  • Debe ser capaz de aprender y comprender la interfaz del PLC.
  • Capacidad para trabajar bien en equipos y solo.
  • Capaz de mantener eficiencias para la tasa de ejecución total de:

16 qts a 32 qts        20 BPM

1.5 cf a 2 cf             18 BPM

3.0 cf                      16 BPM        

Experiencia y Educación:

Diploma de Escuela Superior ó el Equivalente GED
