Job description


BAE Systems is seeking a Logistics Analyst 1 Government Furnished Computer Program (GFCP) Coordinator to join our Logistics team. This position will be located in the Moorestown and Mt. Laurel. The qualified candidate will become part of BAE Systems, working with a highly complex computer system critical to the defense of the United States. As part of our team the successful candidate will support the US Navy's Aegis Combat System (ACS) research and development, shipboard ACS modernization efforts, new construction, and Fleet support efforts. Aegis is the Navy's premiere computer suite in detection, managing, command & control, directing sensors and putting weapons on target.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support a team leader to meet tasking objectives and schedule
  • Perform analysis to support procurement and transfer of Government Furnished Computer Programs (GFCP) for utilization at the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS)
  • Document control of transmittal letters from shipping activities for auditing purposes
  • Database Management via MS Excel and other internal proprietary applications (i.e. TRAIN)
  • Material shipment coordination between shipping activities and requestors
  • Performs authorized courier duties between local facilities
  • Performs Information Assurance scans and Quality oversight for the GFCP
  • Assist in preparation of reports and presentations
  • Full time on-site position
