JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Software Engineer embedded directly within our Quantitative Investment Group to serve as a handson technical partner to Portfolio Managers and Quantitative Researchers. This role will work primarily in Python and C#, supporting the full lifecycle of systematic investment workflows-from research enablement and data integration to platform development and firmwide integration.
This is not a traditional support or centralized platform role. The successful candidate will help in the design, implementation, and evolution of QIG's quantitative portfolio and research infrastructure, translating portfolio construction, optimization, and risk research into scalable, productiongrade systems while aligning with broader firmwide technology initiatives.

The base salary range for this position is:
USD 90,000 - 180,000This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salaryis only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
