About the role
  • An outgoing, professional Stock Lead to work in conjunction with the Store Manager to maintain excellent customer service, merchandise presentation, loss prevention, and operation assignments as outlined by the Store Manager and Field Leadership. Ability to process and distribute products between the Corporate Warehouse and the designated store location, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

What you'll do
  • Move product/supplies from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, and color or product code.
  • Ensure accuracy of transfer documentation to and from store location and warehouse or other store locations.
  • Help in the merchandising and floor stocking as needed.
  • Steam, hang, or fold merchandise before putting it out on the floor.
  • Ensure the stock room is accessible and safe for employee traffic.
  • Mark materials with identifying information using an appropriate method (tagging).
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
  • Sweep, dust, mop, and other housekeeping duties of backroom and sales floor.
  • Always keep and organize the stock room and work area for cleanliness and free of debris.
  • Communicate merchandise and supply needs with the store and corporate management to ensure proper merchandise levels and supplies in conjunction with the store manager to avoid additional deliveries.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Excellent organization, verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work POS, and other store computer applications
  • Excel at time management and multi-tasking
  • Ability to count and perform simple math
  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • Must regularly lift and or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and or move 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and or move objects that weigh more than 75 or more pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities are required for this job which includes close vision, distance vision, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
