Job Description:

Precise-Contractors is looking to hire experienced heavy equipment operators to work on Trench Excavations for Electrical Duct Banks, Vaults, Manholes and to backfill and grade. Must have minimum 3-5 years performing this kind of work. The position is in the San Antonio, Texas Area

Job Duties:

  • Start each work day with an inspection of equipment: tires/tracks, controls, hydraulics, fuel, blow out filters, grease equipment, and check/top off fluids to ensure reliable operation.
  • Participate/Perform daily safety meeting/JSA and daily meetings with your supervisor and staff, maintaining communication updates daily on project status.
  • Communicate with onsite customer contact daily on project status as required.
  • Operate excavator, loader, rollers, etc. to perform trench excavation and backfill as required to specifications.
  • Change attachments, make adjustments, verify information and troubleshoot problems
  • Weekly:, Wash Equipment, Clean Cab, and any other basis routine maintenance associate with proper upkeep of equipment.
  • Store and clean machinery at its designated location and complete work reports at the end of each working day
  • Be able to use hand tools
  • Capable of working in the elements (High Summer Temperatures and Cold Winter Temperatures for long shifts)
  • Other duties as assigned.
