Nexaminds is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, optimize, and scale high-performance backend systems and modern cloud applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Java, Python, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AI/LLM backend integrations, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements:

  • 5–8+ years of professional backend engineering experience working with both Java and Python.

  • Deep expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-native architectures.

  • Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and core backend systems.

  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI/ML backend integration patterns.

  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to drive efficiency and clean code standards.

  • A strong mindset for Application Security (AppSec), with experience identifying and fixing codebase/dependency security vulnerabilities

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across cross-functional product, data, and infrastructure teams.

  • Strong written and verbal English proficiency.

Job Duties:

  • Design, build, and deploy highly scalable microservices, data pipelines, and APIs using Java, Python, and GCP.
