Job Requirement
Strong Python development skills with proven backend experience.
Hands on experience with FastAPI for API development and integration.
Solid understanding and practical experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in developing, testing, and deploying backend services in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development (Primary - 80%)
• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable backend services using Python.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs using FastAPI, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Handle backend service integration with databases, third-party systems, and internal platforms.
• Implement business logic, data validation, error handling, and logging best practices.
• Participate across the entire SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver end to end solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests, integration tests, code reviews, and adherence to coding standards.
Frontend Development (Secondary - 20%)
• Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript to support application workflows.
• Work with frontend frameworks/libraries as required to build user friendly and responsive interfaces.
• Debug and resolve frontend backend integration issues.
Cloud & Security Responsibilities
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and configuration.
• Use or integrate with secure configuration and secrets management solutions (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager).
• Follow security best practices for API development, authentication, authorisation, and data protection.
