About the Team

Team Interstellar builds the core backend services for Capital One Canada. We focus on data quality, regulatory compliance, and customer service automation.

We manage four main systems.

  • The Canada Omilia Migration focuses on backend infrastructure for a natural language voice bot. This bot handles millions of calls annually. We are currently building automated testing frameworks and integrating the system into enterprise deployment pipelines.

  • The Canada KYC DQS Platform is our centralized data quality engine. It enforces strict data standards across all application flows so new accounts are compliant from creation.

  • You will write backend code for production systems dealing with high traffic, strict regulatory rules, and large data transformations.

  • You will build new API features, write automated tests, and improve deployment pipelines.

  • You will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver features. Senior team members will provide technical guidance and mentorship.

  • CI/CD: Jenkins (OnePipeline/Bogie), Docker

Your Responsibilities:

  • Write backend code to meet story acceptance criteria.

  • Build and maintain high-volume APIs and ETL data pipelines.

  • Write automated tests and integrate them into deployment pipelines.

  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and Agile ceremonies.

  • Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to implement new system features.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Will obtain a Bachelor's degree or higher from December 2026 or later.
