Job description

Job Summary:
ClifyX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SDET / QA Automation Engineer. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts using Python, as well as performing end-to-end system testing for gateway devices.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using Python (proficient-level coding)
• Design, implement, and execute functional and integration tests for RESTful APIs and microservices
• Analyze API responses and backend behavior using NoSQL databases like Cassandra
• Validate deployments and test orchestration in Kubernetes-based microservice architectures
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Git
• Work on cloud-based testing scenarios leveraging AWS services (e.g., S3, SQS, SNS) – nice to have
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5–7 years of experience in SDET/QA automation roles
• Strong in REST API testing, Python programming, and Linux scripting
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Docker, Git, Kubernetes
• NO SQL Db experience is required
Preferred:
• Experience with cloud-based testing scenarios leveraging AWS services (e.g., S3, SQS, SNS)
