Senior Data Scientist
An ideal candidate will have a BS and MS in a Data Science related field and at least five years of related professional experience. The position is on a team working to improve GEOINT collection methods.
Please note: This position is only active for one year, ending on 04 August 2027. Follow on opportunities may be available.
Education and Experience
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in a STEM field and five years of relevant experience -OR- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 7 years of relevant experience - OR- a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work on client site in Springfield, Virginia 40 hours a week (no telework)
  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection and associated systems
  • Proficient with Python and SQL

Desired:
  • Knowledge of graph databases and database design
  • Experience with Sparql
  • Experience with multi-INT data
  • Experience applying machine learning algorithms to intelligence data
  • Ability to learn new technologies, adapt to dynamic mission needs, and develop/test new analytic methodologies

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI and the willingness to sit for a polygraph, if needed
