Job description

Job Summary The Mathematics Program within the School of Sciences at the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM) is seeking an innovative Instructor to teach undergraduate courses beginning Fall 2026. This position is a one-year appointment, renewable upon satisfactory job performance. The School of Sciences offers a bachelor's degree in mathematics Duties and Responsibilities Teach undergraduate courses during the fall and spring semester.

Advise students and maintain records of student progress. Actively participate in recruitment and retention for the mathematics degree program Assist in all areas of program improvement, including participation in curriculum development, evaluation, and assessment. Perform other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be passionate about teaching undergraduates.

Candidates should have earned a MS or PhD in Mathematics. Qualifications include: Innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching undergraduates from diverse backgrounds Coursework and/or experience in Mathematics or related field Effective oral and written communication skills Please include a Cover Letter and CV to be considered.
