Job Description
  • Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  •  Define problems, collect Quality data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Programming and querying skills.
  • Adept at queries and report writing.
  • Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
Qualifications
  • 2 - 4 years managed care experience, HEDIS knowledge!
  • 2 - 4 years data analysis experience required
  • Bachelor's in Information Management, Healthcare Information, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
  • Technical expertise regarding databases and quality data analytical tools.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint (most reporting done in Excel)

  • 8-5 M-F, Some Saturdays
