SUPERVISES: 

There are direct reports with this position.

POSITION SUMMARY:   

The Supervisor, Workforce Inclusion supervises Workforce Inclusion Specialist, behavior support, and/or employment services provided by PRIDE Industries while serving as a liaison with governmental agencies, employers, staff, residential services, and family members to provide updates and progress reports on individuals with disabilities.

TYPICAL DUTIES:  

1. *Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with external entities.
2. *Supervise employees; ensure a competent motivated team through counseling and training.
3. *Identify, facilitate, and evaluate training material to support individuals with disabilities with gaining skills needed for both pre-employment and post-employment.
4. *Responsible for planning, scheduling, preparing, staffing, and administration of events.
5. *Completes required reports such as maintaining accurate billing, timesheet, and expense reports for employees and individuals with disabilities.
6. Performs duties and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

•Three or more years of experience in case management, social services, or related field.
•Demonstrate supervisory skills to hire, provide required training, supervise, adhere to disciplinary processes effectively, and address employee relations appropriately.
•Intermediate computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing, database, and presentation software.
•Ability to communicate effectively including listening, verbal, and written.
•Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems.
•Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
•Demonstrate ability to manage competing priorities and exercise flexibility.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelors in Health & Human Services or related field

A comparable combination of formal education and work experience will be considered.

CERTIFICATES REQUIRED: 

The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:

CPR/First Aid

Valid Driver's License

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:
 
•Viewing computer screen/monitor
•Keyboarding
•Maneuvering to and around equipment
•Bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
•Climbing stepstools or ladders
•Lifting and moving equipment up to 25 pounds
•Transporting to various locations within customer site(s)

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  

Work is performed in an office environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise. Transport to locations near the work site may be required. Employees may also be exposed to extreme cold or heat.
