Arrow International is the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of charitable gaming products and solutions. They are seeking an enthusiastic Game Design Mathematician to work closely with a Game Designer to develop compelling prize-first math models for their electronic gaming products.
Responsibilities:
• Design compelling ‘slot-style’ game math models utilizing prize-first math engine.
• Translate game concepts and mathematical ideas into software using C#.
• Develop and maintain math characteristics metrics to enable data-driven decision-making while iterating on math model design.
• Create and maintain PAR sheets detailing the game math model.
• Develop a working knowledge of North American slot markets, identifying trends ensuring game designs are contemporary and meet market requirements.
• Able to work with the team to align priorities and drive towards solutions, a true team player.
• Passion to create fun games with an engaging player experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Grasp of math principles and probability.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Data Analysis/Software Engineering field or equivalent experience.
• Gaming experience highly preferred.
• Experience with C#.
• Experience with Excel.
• Knowledge of other development tools, for example Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket etc. a plus.
