Summary To tutor students in key Exercise Science courses (e.g., EXSC 2270, 2300, 3600). Career Readiness Competencies Take initiative to learn new tools, systems, or procedures on the job. Maintain a positive, growth-oriented mindset when facing challenges

Adjust tone and approach based on audience (e.g., peers vs. supervisors). Recognize when priorities need to shift and adjust accordingly

Follow university guidelines related to respectful behavior and anti-harassment. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and follow through. Essential Functions Hold regular meeting times that allow for Exercise Science students to seek and receive help and clarifications on concepts in key Exercise Science courses (e.g., EXSC 2270, 2300, 3600) through one-on-one or small group sessions

Minimum Qualifications Demonstrates academic competence in Exercise Science with an overall GPA of 3.0 or greater. Successful completion of EXSC 2270, 2300, and 3600 with a grade of B or higher. Ability to facilitate critical thinking skills and offer clarification of expectations for Exercise Science students
