Job Summary
ย This position is for a high school teacher who prepares students for careers in healthcare. The teacher focuses on subjects such as nursing fundamentals, medical assisting, and health sciences. Working under the school principal, the teacher creates a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where all students can succeed.

The goal of this role is to help students gain the knowledge and hands-on skills needed for careers in healthcare and to prepare them for real-world medical settings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Teach career-focused classes in health sciences, nursing, and medical assisting
  • Supervise students during hands-on clinical experiences in healthcare settings
  • Help students understand real-world topics such as healthcare, family needs, and workplace responsibilities
  • Maintain an organized and well-managed classroom and lab environment
  • Monitor student progress and adjust lessons to meet different learning needs
  • Support student participation in Career and Technical Education (CTE) organizations and competitions
  • Organize and attend field trips to colleges, hospitals, and other healthcare workplaces
