Who We Are: Mission of Kids Junction - Partnering with families to build strong mind, body and Christlike Character.
Kids Junction is a large established early childhood center with over 20 years of serving families in Madison, WI and surrounding communities. We are licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 295 children aged 6 weeks through 5 years, plus 100 school age children. We are passionate about providing a nurturing, play-based learning environment, rooted in Christian principles, that supports the social, emotional and academic development of young children.
Our center has the following classrooms:
  • 7 Infant/Toddler
  • 9 Early Preschool
  • 4 Preschool
  • 3 4K
  • 6 After School

We are conveniently located inside the Princeton Club on Madison's west side. Our location gives prime access to bus lines, the belt line, and bike trails. Our beltline access connects most nearby neighborhoods and towns in 10-15 minutes! Madison consistently ranks among the best in the nation for almost everything including fantastic bike trails, safe neighborhoods, great healthcare, excellent education, amazing music venues and diverse restaurants.

About the Role: The primary responsibilities of our 3K / 4K Teachers are to teach the provided curriculum to our 3K and 4K students and provide an enriching classroom experience. 3K / 4K Teacher will also support our preschool/daycare program by supervising preschool children, accompany children on field trips, assist with meals and snacks, and lead daily activities including indoor/outdoor games, craft projects and much more. All materials and lesson plans will be provided. Pay rate is based on education, experience, and Registry Level.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
  • Have a strong passion and calling to impact children's lives
  • Have the Assistant and Lead Teacher courses completed or be willing to complete necessary coursework
  • Hold a bachelor's in Education or Early Childhood with a minimum of a two-year degree
  • Have experience working the fields of early childhood or education
  • Ability to foster teamwork and thrive in a collaborative environment
