Job description

Safety-Kleen located in Fallon, NV is currently seeking a Lab Chemist - Swing Shift. The lab technician is responsible for the routine analysis of samples to determine their chemical and physical properties.

Pay Rate: $26-30hr DOE.
Schedule: Two shifts available. Day M-F 8am-4:30pm and Swing shift 1:30pm to 10pm.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Performs basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures.
  • Utilizes basic instrumentation.
  • Completes all paperwork associated with the analysis in a neat and timely fashion.
  • Ensures that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
  • Performs cleaning and general housekeeping of work area.

  • BS in Chemistry or related science preferred.
  • 3+ years of previous lab technician experience preferred.
