Both roles are integral to the fitness industry but serve different professional and educational purposes.

A degree in exercise science prepares individuals for careers such as personal trainers, fitness instructors, and rehabilitation specialists, often requiring knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and fitness assessment tools. The degree can lead to job opportunities in gyms, clinics, and sports organizations, with certifications like NASM or ACSM enhancing employability. Job prospects depend on experience, certifications, and location, but the degree provides a solid foundation for a career in health and fitness.
