Duties * You will perform work in the design, construction, operation, and analysis of software systems. * You will apply computer science/engineering concepts, principles, and methods in the architecture, requirements, design, and development and modification of software programs. * You will develop and implement test procedures and routines to verify correct implementation and validation of software simulation programs. * You will provide project level technical support services to supported systems and research commercial off-the-shelf software and tools, as applicable. * You will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing a solution to improve the storage of data inputs and outputs from the simulation software. Qualifications In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band ND-03 (GS-9/11 equivalent) in the Federal service, or in the public or private sector as a professional scientist analyzing or computing modeling for the development of undersea programs or technologies. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
