Job description

You will serve as a Combat Systems Division Branch Head (Code 2512) in the Combat Systems Engineering Branch
of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15 and the ND-4 encompasses GS-12 and GS-13.
Salary:
ND-4 $101,375-$156,715
ND-5 $142,452-$197,200Qualifications:For the ND-05: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.as a professional engineer or scientist leading the execution or direction of projects, systems development efforts, research, or technology initiatives for Undersea Warfare Systems.
For the ND-04
: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist supporting the execution or direction of projects, applying a wide range of theories, concepts, systems development efforts, research, or technology initiatives related to Undersea Warfare Systems design, development, and integration.

1550 Series: A bachelor's degree in computer science
OR
A bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus.
