Job description

Driver/Warehouse Associate
Position Summary:
$24 an hour
Driver/Warehouse Associate is responsible for daily deliveries to customers and
intercompany transfers, performs any other warehouse work when deemed necessary
and/or assigned by supervisor.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for safely and timely delivering products to customers' work sites and
supporting the operation's team with warehouse functions as needed.
Critical Knowledge and Skills:
• Excellent driving knowledge of the assigned route/s
• Clean driving record for a minimum of 3-5 years
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who can work under minimal supervision
• Able to timely maintain all required DOT and documentation and/or logs, Cal
OSHA, and OSHA safety requirements and inspections
• Active Medical Examiner's Card, and an active Class B or Class A driver's
license
• Able to work a Monday-Friday work schedule and work weekends when needed
• Basic computer knowledge is preferred
• Able to lift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stoop, bend, twist and spend prolonged hours sitting and driving
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Safely drive under all types of driving conditions that can change based on
weather conditions and/or traffic
• This job is designated a Safety Sensitive position per DOT regulations
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of driving experience driving under a Commercial Class B
or A driver's license
• Current and active forklift certification (sit down forklift) preferred
