Department:  Communications

Summary:

Reporting to the HIM Operations Manager, the Operator directs all calls at the switchboard.  Knows department locations and extensions; knows all key personnel; effectively follows all procedures for all Codes and Alarms; follows all protocol for Health Services Agency after-hours calls.  Provides cross-coverage in Medical Records.
