As a Driver Small Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) at United Rentals, your goal is to transport Mobile Storage equipment less than 26,001 lbs. in a safe manner and perform jobsite work such as block, level, skirt, etc.

You will work with operations personnel to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company standards. You will also be responsible for following all safety guidelines while at the branch, on the road, or at the customer site and complying with all FMCSA rules and regulations. What you'll do: Drop off and pick up equipment for customers Prepare truck, tools, & supplies for scheduled work orders Operate heavy equipment such as semi-trucks and trailers ("rollbacks" or "dove tails") consistent with DOT classification CDL-B Adhere to all safety requirements particular to equipment including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Maintain driver's logs and complete pre-trip inspections Suggest additional equipment and supplies customers may need Other duties assigned as needed Requirements: Valid Class B CDL with acceptable driving record High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years DOT regulated Commercial Driving Experience Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
