Job description

Button Transportaion is hiring a CDL A local seasonal harvest driver in Dixon, CA. Whether you're an experienced driver or a recent CDL graduate, Button Transportation is looking for motivated drivers to join our seasonal agricultural team. We provide paid training for new drivers and opportunities to build valuable experience in the transportation industry.

As a seasonal driver, you'll haul fresh tomatoes, almonds, and walnuts throughout Northern California during the harvest season, which typically runs through the end of December. Our drivers enjoy reliable home time every day while working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
Compensation

  • Average weekly earnings: $1,200–$2,000+
  • Paid weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

  • Drivers are encouraged to work 5–6 days per week for maximum earnings

Qualifications

  • Class A CDL required
  • New CDL graduates are encouraged to apply
    • Experienced drivers preferred
  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Doubles endorsement required
  • Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete reports and records, as required by 49 CFR § 391.11(b)(2).
  • Good driving record (MVR)
  • No BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or license suspensions for moving violations within the past 5 years
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible schedules
  • Must live within 40 miles of Dixon, CA
