Job description

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to oversee and enhance a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environment for a retail organization based in Ontario, California. This role focuses on maintaining platform stability, supporting end users, and improving system performance across business-critical functions. The position partners closely with finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to ensure the application environment remains secure, reliable, and aligned with operational needs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily administration of the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform, including access management, security setup, workflow oversight, scheduled processing, and core system settings.
• Investigate and resolve application issues reported by users, delivering timely support and identifying root causes to reduce recurring problems.
• Coordinate platform updates, code releases, environment upkeep, and data refresh activities through Microsoft cloud tools and Azure DevOps.
• Maintain connectivity between Dynamics 365 F& O and external business applications, including third-party commerce and transaction-processing solutions.
• Execute database-related administrative tasks such as refresh activities, backup and recovery support, and overall environment health management.
• Contribute to reporting and business insight initiatives by supporting data access, dashboard functionality, and analytics tools such as Power BI.
• Work with cross-functional teams across finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and IT to refine processes and improve system effectiveness.
• Monitor environment performance and recommend configuration or process improvements that strengthen reliability, usability, and operational efficiency.• At least 3 years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or earlier AX environments.
• Minimum of 5 years of broader ERP or enterprise application support experience.
• Practical expertise with Microsoft cloud administration, Azure services, and Azure DevOps in a production environment.
• Experience supporting integrations between Dynamics 365 F& O and external platforms, with exposure to TrueCommerce considered valuable.
• Strong knowledge of security design, environment management, deployment practices, and integration support within D365 F& O.
• Familiarity with business processes tied to finance, supply chain, procurement, or inventory management modules.
• MB-300 and MB-500 certifications, or equivalent AX 2012 credentials, are required.
• Additional experience with Power BI, Power Automate, PowerShell, X++, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows 10, Citrix, Dell infrastructure, or Microsoft SQL is a plus.
