What does an Azure Storage Engineer do?

An Azure Storage Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions using Microsoft Azure’s cloud platform. They ensure data is securely stored, backed up, and readily accessible for applications and users. Their role often includes configuring storage accounts, optimizing storage performance and cost, setting up data replication and recovery, and troubleshooting storage-related issues. Azure Storage Engineers also collaborate with development and operations teams to support scalable and resilient cloud architectures.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Azure Storage Engineer?

To thrive as an Azure Storage Engineer, you need expertise in cloud storage architectures, data management, and security, typically backed by a degree in computer science or a related field.
