As a Cloud Architect at Valorem Reply, you will design enterprise-grade Azure solutions while acting as a consultant who influences cloud strategy and drives modernization outcomes. In this role, you’ll communicate value at the executive level and contribute hands-on during delivery. You’ll help grow the cloud practice by identifying opportunities, shaping customer vision, and turning that vision into sustained engagements that expand Azure adoption. You must be able to define cloud adoption roadmaps, guide customers through the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, and execute migrations from on-premises environments into Azure.
Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy and planning for cloud modernization programs using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Define cloud adoption roadmaps and architect scalable solutions across Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, and hybrid environments
  • Translate business and technical requirements into actionable Azure migration plans and present value and ROI to C-Suite and VP stakeholders
  • Drive growth by identifying customer pain, framing the opportunity, and turning it into delivered value. Build trust quickly, shape the cloud vision with customers, and convert that vision into long-term engagements that expand the practice
  • Perform hands-on engineering during design, deployment, and cutover activities
  • Provide technical leadership to cloud engineers and ensure adherence to standards, automation, and best practices.
  • Contribute to pre-sales by articulating the Why Azure message and supporting solution design for customer engagements
  • Manage ongoing optimization, performance tuning, and cost governance for Azure workloads.
Minimum Requirements
  • 5 years experience architecting and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure
  • 5 years experience executing enterprise application or infrastructure migrations with hands-on engineering involvement
  • Expertise in Azure networking, security, identity (Entra ID), and data migration workloads, including experience with Azure Migrate
  • Experience applying DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep
  • Experience designing solutions for hybrid cloud or on-premises to Azure connectivity
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering cloud strategy engagements through the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Experience presenting technical and business value cases to C-Suite or senior leadership stakeholders
  • Experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and cloud governance programs
  • Experience providing technical leadership to engineering teams in a consulting environment
  • Relevant Azure certifications (Architect Expert, Security Engineer, Administrator, or DevOps)
