Job description

Position Summary

Bulletproof seeks a highly energetic and collaborative individual for the position of Senior Network Consultant.

Responsibilities
  • Architect secure WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD‑WAN environments using FortiGate, FortiSwitch, and FortiAP platforms.
  • Design, deploy & support enterprise wireless solutions.
  • Provide senior‑level technical escalation for complex network or security incidents.
  • Support Bulletproof’s NOC environment and systems and provide best practice procedures for monitoring our clients.
  • Provide network capacity planning and availability analysis.
  • Support sales teams with pre‑sales engineering, solution scoping, and BoM creation.
  • Conduct security assessments, firewall policy audits, and configuration hardening.
  • Implement segmentation frameworks, micro‑segmentation, and NAC policies.
  • Tune security profiles including Web Filtering, Anti‑Malware, Application Control, and Intrusion Prevention.
Required Education/Credentials/Qualifications
  • Minimum 7-10 years of networking experience.
  • A university degree, college certificate or diploma in information technology and/or relevant experience and industry certification.
  • Solid working knowledge of networking design, including Routing, LAN, WAN, and Wireless technologies including Fortinet and Cisco.
  • Professional level experience working with switching and other technologies such as Spanning-Tree VLANs, QoS, IGMP, Multicast, MPLS, VPN hierarchical network architectures.
  • Professional level experience working with advanced routing technologies such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and SD‑WAN.
  • Experience supporting Enterprise and Public Cloud hosted network environments.
  • Experience managing and monitoring platforms using protocols such as SNMP, SSH and APIs.
  • Preference to candidates with experience and/or certification in networking technologies, including Cisco, Palo Alto and Fortinet.
  • Strongly preferred certifications:
    • Fortinet NSE 5 (FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer)
    • Fortinet NSE 6 (Advanced Security, OTSecurity, SD‑WAN)
    • Fortinet NSE 7 (Enterprise Firewall, Public Cloud)
    • Cisco CCNA
Other Qualifications / Experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Networking including virtual Fortigate and Azure Network Services.
  • Experience with Fortinet Technologies such as:
    • FortiGate (NGFW, SD‑WAN, HA clustering, AV, IPS, Application Control)
    • FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer (centralized management, logging, reporting, automation)
    • FortiAuthenticator + FortiToken (MFA, SSO, identity-based access) as well as SAML Authentication with Clouds.
    • FortiSwitch/FortiAP (secure switching & wireless)
    • FortiEMS/ FortiClient (endpoint security)
    • Experience with ZTNA is an asset.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes is an asset.
Travel Expectations

You must be willing to travel 20% - 25% when necessary.
