Job description

Role: Azure Network Engineer
Location: MD
Long Term
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to and resolve Infrastructure alerts relating Azure Network -
  • Respond to Remedy incidents (SI and MI) tickets by providing solution, initiating NOC calls and/or work with Application teams
  • Support, operate, and maintain large scale, critical Network environments in Azure Cloud
  • Create and review alerts to ensure the health of Network (IN RACI, A/C/I)
  • Triage, analyse, and perform root cause analysis for network-related issues
  • Support Network appliance implementations/changes
  • Support Virtual Networks, Security rules in Azure Subscription by leveraging automation and PowerShell
  • Support Azure Firewall security rule updates
  • Publish Network related documentation sets for runbooks, as-built, and design reference
  • Create new and re-engineer existing processes, work-flows, scripts, and automation to improve quality and efficiency
  • Understand and promote network standards, maintain strategic roadmaps for network platforms and services
  • Support troubleshooting of application network connectivity issues
  • Analyse network traffic, trace logs using tools like Wireshark
  • Ability to perform advanced packet/protocol analysis throughout the seven-layer OSI reference model
  • Create dashboards to monitor health of the network, with scheduled reporting at set interval
Key Skills Required:
  • 4-6 years of experience with networking technologies and core Internet protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, wireless, and distributed networks)
  • Experience with network infrastructure service designs, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, GRE, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, NAT, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, or packet analysis
  • Excellent knowledge in Azure VNET,NSG,ASG, Security groups ,Azure networking
  • Hands on experience on Azure Portal
  • Good knowledge in adding firewall rules and the subscription build in Azure.
  • Experience in working NSG consolidation
  • experience with internet protocol (IP) networking, including routing and switching
  • Experience and understanding of the network stack as it pertains to system engineering \ architecture
  • Azure Fundamentals knowledge.
  • Experience in network capturing and analysing tool Ex. WireShark
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
